ABOUT US
We are a small team who believe that the partnership between a veteran and their pet is invaluable.
We want to help local veterans and their pets by helping them get the resources they need.
We are volunteers, and we take no compensation. All money raised goes directly to the program.
President
Chris Prince, retired CSM, served in the Army for 24 years, including Desert Storm.
He is a real pet lover - he and Suzanne have 4 dogs and 2 cats.
Vice-President
Duane Gilbert, past Commander of VFW Post 2166, is a Vietnam Veteran. He and his wife, who is a Master Gardener, have always had Dobermans.
Treasurer/Secretary
Suzanne Prince came to the USA from the UK 30 years ago. Her father, Tom Dobney, is in the Guinness Book of Records as the youngest ever military pilot - he joined up during WW2 at the age of 15.
Vice-President
Priscilla (PK) Carden Richardson was born and raised in Hampton, TN. She and her husband, a Viet Nam veteran, are active members of Rolling Thunder TN Ch 4.
Along with their love for riding motorcycles they have a love for animals. They are owned by two Shih Tzus - Harley and Shelby.
We are proud to have been honored by the Mayor and Carter County Commission at their monthly Commission Meeting. They presented us with this beautiful plaque.
